Crispy and tasty Sabudana Cutlets are perfect for breakfast or snack. I tried to make this recipe for my Monday fasting and prefer to those, all who fast during Navratri.

There are a lot of variations of fasting recipes. So, you too can make changes to this recipe by skipping or adding ingredients of your choice.I like fried cutlets to make but you can also rost them on Tawa to it healthy. I hope you will love to eat these Sabudana cutlets or sabudana tikki during vrat (fast).

Must try this yummy sabudana cutlet recipe:-

  INGREDIENTS

  • ½ sabudana / sago
  • 1 large potato, boiled and peeled
  • ¼ cup peanuts / groundnuts, roasted & crushed
  • 1-inch ginger,1 green chilli finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp cumin powder/jeera powder
  • add salt according to your taste. 
  • 2 big spoon of  oil, to fry. 

   

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. firstly, take soaked sabudana ( 15mint)  in a large mixing bowl
  2. add in 1 large boiled and grated potato, add ¼ cup crushed peanuts, 1 chilli, 2 tbsp coriander leaves and salt to taste.combine, mix and mash well with your hand.       
  3. now prepare small flat patties or any shape
  4. fry them on a medium flame, fry till golden brown.
  5. finally, serve sabudana Tikki with tomato sauce or green chutney.

Notes:

  • firstly, soak the sabudana for at least 15-30 mints.
  • if you are not able to form a dough then add another boiled potato or a tbsp of cornflour and mash well.
  • additionally, add aamchur and lemon juice for tangy flavour.
  • finally, sabudana Tikki is tastier when served hot and crispy.😋
