Straight from the kitchen garden π πpumpkin flowers recipe
In my village, we made chilla out of the pumpkin flowers π and guess what this is super healthy and tasty too π
Ingredients
- 10 fresh Pumpkin (Zucchini) Flowers.
- 1 cup besan (gram flour)
- 2-3 tablespoon vegetable cooking oil
- ¼ tablespoon cumin seeds (jeera)
- ¼ tablespoon Mirchi (chilli) powder
- ¼ tablespoon cumin seeds (jeera) powder
- ¼ tablespoon turmeric powder (Haldi)
- salt as per taste
Instructions
- Clean the Pumpkin (zucchini) flowers by removing the pistil inside and wash them by hand properly and cit them into big pieces.
- Mix all ingredients besan (gram flour), rice flour, Mirchi (chilli) powder, salt as per taste, cumin seeds (jeera), black cumin seeds (Kala jeera), cumin seeds (jeera) powder and turmeric powder well.
- Then add water in the bowl little by little to prepare to perfect a bhajia batter for Pumpkin (zucchini) flower fry recipe.
- Dip the Pumpkin flowers piece in the batter bowl.
- Heat the pan with 2 tablespoon cooking oil.
- Let pumpkin (zucchini) flowers fry for 5-10 minutes from both sides well on medium flame.
- Then take out and keep aside. Now the pumpkin (zucchini) flowers recipe is ready to serve. Enjoy them hot with tomato sauce.
Note:- You can use egg also if you like it. π₯
